What’s Your Advice?

I’m in the advice business, so I spend a lot of time offering my opinion on all variety of topics.

I realize that I’ve come to believe in certain guiding rules over the years, which have come to me from all over, and I thought I would share them with you.

Dear Reader, if you are so inclined, I would enjoy seeing your list too.

They are in no particular order, and you will note some overlap. Without further ado:

–Sweat most days. It will prevent loads of health problems, both physical and emotional.

-Doing something helpful for someone else pays dividends.

-Stay close to family.

–Pay attention to the activities you choose to do. You will want to fall back on them again and again.

-Develop work that utilizes your strengths, and hire others to compensate for your weaknesses.

-Do ONE thing.

-Get outside in the morning.

-Always leave the office at lunchtime to clear your head.

-Don’t hold grudges.

-Having good manners is very important.

-Plan ahead so you don’t miss out.

-Distinguish yourself.

-Do what you say you’re going to do.

-Find new ways to challenge yourself.

-When you feel uncomfortable, you’re probably learning something.

-Don’t spend a lot of time on your hair (or makeup).

-You learn more when you listen than when you talk.

NOTEIf you enjoy reading my blog I would appreciate you sharing it with others. Thank you!
